40 moves in 2 hours, then 30 minutes quickplay finish.
Entry fees
GM - free; IM/WGM - £70; FM - £100
Prizes
For each win scored by a player (excluding by forfeit): £15
Additionally, for the highest overall score by a GM: £50
by an IM/WGM: £50
by an FM: £50
There will be no tie-break system. Prize money for the highest score by each group of players (GM; IM/WGM; FM) will be shared in the event of a tie.
Further information
The event will be submitted for FIDE rating and ECF grading. For FIDE rating purposes, all players are required to be members of the ECF or their national federation (as appropriate).
Spectators are welcome, and no entry fee will be charged. Photography will be permitted during the first 10 minutes of round 1, and the first 5 minutes of all subsequent rounds.
